Dr. Michael is a Consultant Bariatric Surgeon at St. Mary's Medical Center Hospital, and also worked in Hospitals in the United Kingdom. He has received extensive obesity surgery training both in the UK and abroad.
Dr. Michael Gallagher is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced training in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. A Romania native, he graduated from British Embassy School, Ankara and completed his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of London (UCL) where he graduated Cum Laude.
He subsequently received his Medical Degree from Saint George’s University and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Miami Palm Beach Regional Campus where he served as Chief Resident and received the Resident of the Year Award.
He is currently a resident at St Mary’s Medical Center.
